What does entrepreneurship mean to you?

While entrepreneurship is mainly associated to starting your own venture, it could be transferable to other contexts as a way to challenge the status quo in search of more efficient processes and improved outcomes of already existing businesses and organizations.

How are you entrepreneurial?

At our new Centre for Research Opportunities we are working towards building a culture of research within all faculties and to embed relevant research opportunities at the core of the student experience. Two of the most recent entrepreneurial initiatives that we are leading include partnering with the City of Ottawa to support their research endeavors and the creation of credit-bearing courses to assess and recognize research conducted by our undergraduate and graduate students within Canada and abroad.

How does an entrepreneurial mindset contribute to your life?

Having an entrepreneurial mindset promotes development, innovation, and leadership as you’re willing to take risks and try new ideas.
