What does entrepreneurship mean to you?
Entrepreneurship is important to me because it allows me the freedom to pursue my own vision and choose how I want to make a difference in the world. As an entrepreneur, I create the vision and plan the necessary steps to accomplish the goals. Entrepreneurship allows me to have a flexible schedule where I can have a balanced life with family and friends.
How are you entrepreneurial?
I am entrepreneurial through starting and running my own counselling and mediation practice. As an entrepreneur I wear many hats from planning, marketing, teaching, counselling, mediating, networking and more.
To keep up with the demands of the market, I continue to develop professionally through ongoing professional development. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to plan when I work on most occasions and what area to invest my time and energy.
How does an entrepreneurial mindset contribute to your life?
An entrepreneurial mindset allows me to create, learn and try new things. When you start something on your own and begin to see success, you have an incredible feeling of personal and career fulfillment. Being entrepreneurial allows me to tailor and pursue my work according areas that I am passionate about.
As an entrepreneur you are responsible for creating your own success, which can be challenging but also exciting. As your own boss, it helps you become more responsible since everything begins and ends with you.
