Realize Medical wins Pitch Award
Realize Medical is an Ottawa based start-up trying to fill the needs of 3D medical models using revolutionary virtual reality.
Realize Medical was part of Scaleup Garage 2020 and they won a $17,500 Pitch Award from Capital Angels Network!
Capital Angels Network helps to fund startups in the Ottawa region and since COVID hit, they have successfully given funding to now three startups.
ScaleUp Garage: Cohort 4
The Entrepreneurship Hub is ecstatic to announce the fourth cohort for our Scaleup Garage program. Scaleup Garage is an eight-month program that helps startups grow their businesses.
This cohort consists of 3 student and alumni run startups.
Welcome Flirt, Giden, and Northern Nanopore Instruments to the program. We are so excited to see them on their entrepreneurial journey!
Wellness Week
We celebrated wellness week in style, pandemic style of coarse.
Wellness week was from January 18th to January 22nd at the University of Ottawa and the eHub was S-T-O-K-E-D, stoked to celebrate it!
From contests to virtual pet therapy, uOttawa tried to give some warmth to the students and staff in this cold winter.
Become a Changemaker Bootcamp
Become a Changemaker Bootcamp applications have opened this January! This four-day Bootcamp revolves around teaching how to make strides in sustainability, education, health and wellness, and more. Students have the chance to win a $500 grant with their great ideas, we’re excited to see everything University of Ottawa students have to offer the program!

Build your own Career BootCamp
The eHubs’ second Bootcamp is the Build Your own Career Bootcamp. This one month course includes resources and classes to help you on your entrepreneurial journey. Students can go to panel discussions, have access to the whole entrepreneurial community and have help from the eHub to build their dream career.
