In the Last 30 Days: June Edition
Another month is behind us and our small (but mighty) team is still chugging along through these warm summer months!
Although most of us are still working from our home offices and kitchen tables, we’re thrilled to share some of our BIG wins in June.
With the help and support of some pretty awesome people, we’ve management to accomplish some great things!
Scaleup Garage Program Application Launch
We’ve officially launched applications for the Cohort 3 of our Scaleup Garage Program. Successful applicants will get exclusive access to: go-to market training, virtual CFO supports, as well as a ghost-board network!
If you (or someone you know) are looking to accelerate your business growth, consider submitting your application by July 16, 2020.
An Entrepreneurial Journey Sparked on Campus
2019 Startup Garage alumni, Humam Shwaikh, recently graduated with a double bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and computing technology.
His passion and entrepreneurial spirit undoubtedly made its mark during his academic journey with us at the University of Ottawa!
Read more about Humam’s entrepreneurial experience and future plans here.
Amplifying & Supporting Black Owned Businesses
In June, we stopped posting regular content for a week to amplify Black voices. Since then, we’ve continued to share educational resources and highlight local Black Entrepreneurs.
Our team is taking the time to learn and listen so we can ensure the Entrepreneurship Hub is doing its part to be anti-racist.

Our *NEW* Scaleup Garage Program Partners
We’ve officially announced our latest partnership with Welch Capital Group to provide Scaleup Garage founders with Virtual CFO supports throughout the course of the program.
Additionally, we’re thrilled to partner with Differly, a local Digital Transformation Consultancy, to provide companies with solid Go-To Market training.
