The 2021 Startup Garage cohort is here!
Startup Garage is a 4-month pre-accelerator program to foster and support entrepreneurship. By providing student startups with funds, mentorship and training, Startup Garage has been supporting the growth of some of Ottawa’s most innovative startups since 2010.
Now in its 12th year, the Entrepreneurship Hub is excited to unveil the 10 companies that will form the 2021 Cohort!
Chartd
Chartd provides small businesses with a user-friendly web application to create and automatically maintain their financial models.
Faye Beverage
Faye Beverage was created out of the idea that healthy, vegan shouldn’t have to compromise on taste or ingredients.
Homeboard
Homeboard is a new way to discover and buy home decor products through intuitive easy to create mood boards.
LiftSmart
LiftSmart is a fitness tracker that allows athletes and regular gym-goers to obtain meaningful weightlifting data while they workout, allowing them to drastically improve their performance and efficiency in the gym.
PELV-X Labs
PELV-X Labs provides technology-driven female health solutions for clinical and research applications.
Plexity
Plexity changes how pharmacies and clinics deliver digital healthcare experiences and how patients access and share their personal health information.
Sprout
Sprout is a social enterprise that addresses food waste and food insecurity by recuperating comestible produce that would have been thrown out and giving it a new chance to create a meal box subscription service.
ThredApps
ThredApps is an e-commerce platform keen on changing the way people dress through use of a custom one-of-a-kind design interface for merchandise, in which they can buy or sell said merchandise they designed, on the app.
Warrior Yoga
Warrior Yoga is a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the barriers which prevent people from accessing yoga and meditation, particularly for trauma impacted and low-income communities.
Wellness World
WellnessWorld is a holistic student life platform that connects students to events, resources and services based on their unique needs, wants, and identities.
